A FEW WORDS FROM THE BEST.INTERNS.EVER.
Describe your favorite memory working at BDE.
“My favorite memory during my BDE internship would be the first event that I assisted with that took place in New York City during the winter. It was the first time I met the Best.Day.Ever. team in person, and it was a truly comprehensive event that introduced me to everything BDE has to offer. Witnessing the team’s flawless execution of the event firsthand was incredible. I had the opportunity to learn more about our gamification platform and assist with the set-up, execution, and closing of the event. My first event allowed me to see the full extent of our team’s talent, and since then, I have loved being a part of the team and contributing to all the amazing work we do.”
— Eileen Evans | BS Political Science & Government from College of the Holy Cross
What are you thankful for regarding your internship at BDE?
“I am grateful for the flexibility of this internship. Remote work is something that I really appreciate because it provided me the ability to finish out graduate school without interruptions to my learning. (BDE stresses school as the priority, even though we are chomping at the bit to get as much hands-on experience we can). I am also super grateful for the opportunities that get directed my way. BDE is really good at maximizing people’s strengths and providing us interns with experience that excites, challenges, and supports us in our distinct career paths.”

What drew you to want to intern at BDE?
“When I joined Best.Day.Ever., we managed a high-profile suite frequented by celebrities, making it a well-known and sought-after venue within the Syracuse University Basketball scene. The appeal of interning at Best.Day.Ever. wasn’t solely due to the high-impact experiences or the incredible lineup of events it seemingly offered. Rather, it was the intimate environment that fostered innovation and collaboration across departments, and that enables us to create some pretty remarkable experiences for exceptional individuals. This unique setting was a major draw for me, as it provided the perfect place to learn and contribute to impactful projects.”
